"You just have to follow your dreams no matter what"
Okay so this isn't a trailer for a real movie, but it brought a smile to my face on my most hated day of the week. Yep, while most loathe Mondays I can't stand Tuesdays! This isn't a brand new video so you may have seen it before. It's similar to the Oscar bait fake trailer that was around a few months ago and basically rips on all the cliches we see in movies today. The young guy is in a dead end job, is misundertood by his father, and wants to move away - to the far reaches of... Connecticut! It's all here and delivered perfectly, including the closing line 'Splashing into theatres this summer'.
I love the random slurp as the guy drinks from the can, the boom mike that drops into view, the bomb in the car, the overacting and the general cheesiness of the clip. It's what's called Champagne Comedy!
